__ AMAZING PEOPLE...
We have some amazing people working with Ministries in our area: Chrysalis, Emmaus, Adopt-a-Child, Peace Place, Waypoint — just to name a few. I wanted to share with you an update from Betty Hoyt regarding yet another—the Kairos Prison Ministry. Be Blessed!

Last weekend, January 19 - 22, 38 women of the Kairos #11 Team visited 42 prison residents at Lee Arrendale State Prison in Alto. Sandy Casey and Betty Hoyt attended the closing worship service on Sunday afternoon. Here are some of the testimonies we heard from the residents:

• “I came to Kairos feeling alone, I leave here knowing I am among sisters in Christ and He is with me.”
• “I came here feeling lost and last night I was saved.”
• “I came here feeling hopeless and full of guilt, I leave here with the hope of Jesus in my heart knowing I am forgiven.”
• “I came here with unforgiveness in my heart, I leave here having forgiven others and myself .”
• “I will study God’s Word.”
• “I will take Him with me into the compound.”
• “I will share my joy in Him with others who are lost.”
• “I will smile.”
  

Thank you for your prayer support. Several of the team members told us this was the best weekend ever! Please continue to pray for Kairos as plans are already beginning for the Spring weekends at Lee Arrendale and Hancock State Prison for Men. Your prayers make a difference! _Effective February 1, 2012, Donna Wilson will join our church staff as the new Church Treasurer. Donna will be filling the position left vacant by Inez Mize’s retirement. While we will miss Mrs. Inez very much, we are looking forward to working with Donna on our team!
